In this 4-part class, learn to make the Heirloom Quilt Cardigan! Learn how to make flat stranded colorwork blocks, and seam them together into a one of a kind cardigan. Use up your scrappy yarn, or make a master color plan for your layout. This class will be a lot of fun for color planning & layout, and there will be a wealth of information on how to go about stranding this piece, including intarsia twists and catching floats. 


Prerequisite: experience with knit, purl stitches. Stranded colorwork experience highly recommended.

Materials to bring to class: 
  • Heirloom Quilt Cardigan Pattern by Katryn Seeburger: https://ravel.me/heirloom-quilt-cardigan
  • DK weight yarn, or 2 strand of fingering held together (refer to pattern for amount needed)
  • Needles and notions as called for in pattern
