Learn to knit a shawl! In this class we'll be knitting a triangular shawl with a garter tab. Knit this simple shawl while you master one of the foundational shawl shapes and enjoy the squishy garter texture and mediative stitching.


Prerequisite: Knitting 101 or confidently able to cast on, bind off, knit, and purl.
Materials to Bring to Class:

  • Cherry Falls pattern by Rachel Kieselburg 
    (or other garter tab triangular shawl, with approval from instructor)
  • 800-1200 yards DK or worsted weight yarn
  • Needles to match yarn weight
  • Stitch markers and tapestry needle
